What are "seconds" shingles?
Seconds (B-grade) are shingles from major manufacturers' production lines that missed a cosmetic or minor spec: slight color or shade variation, slightly uneven or off-size edges, torn wrappers, or a factory notch marking them as seconds. Since the factory won't warranty those batches, they can't be sold as first quality at big-box stores like Home Depot or Lowe's, which is why we sell them at a steep discount. They still shed water and have the same protective granules. Slight color variation doesn't affect performance; any shingle that's cracked, misshapen, or missing its seal strip should never go on a roof.
Do they come with a warranty?
Seconds don't carry a manufacturer warranty. That's the trade-off for the big savings.
How many bundles are in a square?
3 bundles = 1 square (10 x 10 ft, 100 sq ft). We also sell individual bundles.
How can I pay?
Cash only. No financing or payment plans.
Is there a minimum order?
No, there's no minimum order.
